Press release | Hotel opening AMANO East Side

On Monday, 6th of September, the AMANO Group opens the AMANO East Side, the group's 8th hotel in Berlin. With 174 rooms, it is one of the largest of all AMANO hotels. It is centrally located between the East Side Gallery and the east railway station with a view of the Spree and it features spacious conference rooms for business and private events.

The minimalist-artistic interior of the new AMANO Hotel has the unmistakable style of the group. In each of the 174 rooms, gold, marble, dark wood and avant-garde components have been implemented with loving attention to detail. The Design Alchemists GmbH office is behind the interior design of the hotel. With its close proximity to renowned music studios and to the most famous clubs in the city, the AMANO East Side will become the perfect new nightlife spot in Berlin. Special drinks, famous DJ acts, as well as a dynamic combination of the hotel and the city are part of the core concept of the AMANO East Side.

The hotel's rooftop terrace offers a unique view over Berlin, the Spree River, the TV Tower and further landmarks of the city.  The AMANO Group will soon present an exciting new concept for the hotel's restaurant. This can already be used for exclusive events.

The Hotel AMANO East Side features three conference rooms of a size between 65 sqm and 150 sqm, which were designed to fulfil various requirements. The 'Spreefenster' with a direct access to the garden, is a large pre-function area for events, get-togethers, receptions, product presentations or fashion shows. The two conference rooms are designed for meetings, conferences, lectures and workshops. Lunch and coffee breaks can be held in the garden. A subsequent dinner in the restaurant or a conclusion of the event in the bar or on the rooftop terrace are available. In addition to business events, the rooms are also suitable for private functions.

All rooms are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, soundproof windows, air conditioning, safe, tablet with telephone function, Smart TV, minibar and GHD hairdryer.

The AMANO GROUP owns ten hotels: eight in Berlin, one in Düsseldorf and one in Munich. Hotels Leipzig and London are currently under construction, and three more hotels in Hamburg and Munich are in the planning stage. In total, the Amano Group employs approximately 250 people.
